Cabarrus County is located in the vibrant Piedmont region of south-central North Carolina, just 20 minutes northeast of Charlotte. Conveniently situated halfway between the state’s stunning Blue Ridge Mountains and famed coastline, the five distinct communities of Cabarrus County are home to an allure all their own.
Comprised of the cities of Concord and Kannapolis, and the towns of Harrisburg, 米德兰 and Mt. Pleasant, Cabarrus County is renowned for auto racing. The area’s exciting motorsports heritage includes iconic venues such as Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway, NASCAR race shops and the hometown of legendary driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr.
And Cabarrus County offers even more beyond its exclusive motorsports experiences. It’s a region steeped in history dating back to 1792. Discover the area’s history in the restored walls of restaurants, breweries and our local distillery. It’s in storied grandstand seats and lyrics written by local musicians, carved into commemorative bricks, running through Little Meadow Creek and woven through downtown streets.
